As colder weather approaches we recommend you make sure your basement/crawlspace are sealed correctly. Make sure that your hoses are removed from hose bibs. Hose bibs are shut-off if possible. If your home has a history of water lines freezing, leave your water running about the size of a pencil lead. Cabinets that are mounted on exterior walls should be left open.

Where can I take items not accepted for bulk pickup?

Most of the items that we don't accept for bulk pickup can be disposed of at the Miami County Transfer Station and Recycling Center located at 2200 N. County Road 25-A, Troy, OH. Any questions regarding what they accept, please call (937) 440-5653.
