Welcome to the West Milton income tax page.  We understand that most people do not like talking about, much less paying taxes, but the revenue generated from the income tax is so important to the livelihood and success of our community.  When you pay your local taxes, you are contributing towards police and fire protection, park maintenance, streets maintenance, and many more services that are vital to our village.  Thank you for your contribution and helping our community succeed!

The income tax rate for West Milton is 1.5% and is levied on salaries, wages, commissions, other compensation, business net profits., etc.  Individual taxes may be paid by either employer withholdings or filing an estimate for the year and making quarterly payments.  There is no credit given for income tax paid to another local government.  All resident individual taxpayers 16 years of age or older who are subject to tax are required to file an annual return.
